CONNECT MICROSOFT ADS TO MUSE
Set up Microsoft Ads reporting in Muse
Adzviser retrieves the source data through its MCP reporting tools. Muse uses those results to answer your questions. Connect the source in Adzviser, then authorize Muse to use that connection.
Connect Microsoft Ads in Adzviser
In Adzviser, sign in to Microsoft Ads and allow Adzviser to read its reporting data. Add the source to the workspace you want to use in Muse.
Open Adzviser setup →Authorize Adzviser in Muse
Open Muse.ai and send: “Can you connect to custom Adzviser MCP at https://mcp.adzviser.com/http?” Select Connect on the Adzviser card, sign in to Adzviser, and select Complete Authorization via MCP. Return to Muse.
https://mcp.adzviser.com/httpVerify the first result
Ask Muse to list your Adzviser workspaces and their sources. Choose the workspace and confirm the ad account. Request a small report for a known period before expanding the analysis.
The Adzviser reporting connection is read-only. It can retrieve data for analysis; it cannot edit source records or campaigns.
A USEFUL FIRST MICROSOFT ADS REPORT
Compare cost efficiency and search visibility
Build a report you can check
Use two complete seven-day periods for one account. Request cost, clicks and conversions by campaign, then request compatible impression-share fields for the search campaigns you select. Rank campaigns by cost change and show the absolute conversion counts, rather than sorting only by percentage movement.
Distinguish budget pressure from weak conversion results
Lost impression share due to budget describes missed eligible exposure, not a promise that extra spending will convert profitably. Consider it alongside campaign cost and conversions. If you calculate CPA, use total cost divided by conversions for the selected scope and leave it undefined when conversions are zero.
Inspect the search activity behind a campaign
For one campaign with deteriorating efficiency, ask Muse which search-term or keyword breakdowns are available. Keep that detail separate from the campaign total, and use it to identify queries for a manual review in Microsoft Advertising.
Metrics for this report: Cost; Clicks; Conversions; Impression share (%); Impressions lost to budget (%).
Relevant breakdowns: Campaign name; Account name.
These are starting fields, not a promise that every combination belongs in one report. Use separate requests for different reporting levels and check the full field catalog for additional coverage.
