A USEFUL FIRST THE TRADE DESK REPORT
Review advertiser cost alongside attributed outcomes
Build a report you can check
For one advertiser, compare two complete seven-day periods. Return advertiser cost in advertiser currency, impressions and clicks by campaign. Request click and view-through conversion results in a compatible separate report and name the conversion definition. Rank the campaigns responsible for the largest absolute cost change.
Select one cost basis and attribution model
The catalog distinguishes TTD, partner and advertiser costs, and includes several currency variants. It also exposes different conversion treatments. Mixing a partner cost field with advertiser cost, or a click conversion with a view-through measure, can create a misleading comparison even when the campaign names match.
Trace the change into the campaign detail
Ask Muse for the available ad-group or creative breakdown of one flagged campaign. Keep the cost basis, currency and conversion selection fixed. Return a brief for the trader containing the observed change, supporting rows and questions that need platform-side investigation.
Metrics for this report: Advertiser cost (adv currency); Impressions; Clicks; Click conversions; View-through conversions.
Relevant breakdowns: Campaign name; Advertiser name.
These are starting fields, not a promise that every combination belongs in one report. Use separate requests for different reporting levels and check the full field catalog for additional coverage.
