Behind the Scenes: Challenges in Adding Sales Data

Bringing Shopify and WooCommerce into Adzviser was no small feat. The process tested our team’s resolve, but we’re proud to deliver tools that will streamline how you track sales.

Shopify Integration Challenges

Navigating the Billing API: Unlike other connectors where we can use our payment vendor, Lemon Squeezy, Shopify mandates the use of its billing API system. This require me to write entirely new code tailored to their system, adding complexity and increasing the time needed to complete the integration.

Coordination with Shopify’s App Partners Team: The process involved extensive back-and-forth communication to ensure compliance, privacy and security, further adding to the challenge.

WooCommerce Integration Challenges

Complex User Interface and API: WooCommerce’s interface and API posed hurdles due to inconsistent documentation and workflows. Integration testing: Identifying and resolving integration issues required significant troubleshooting and testing.

Despite these challenges, I persevered to bring these valuable connectors to life.
